In the heart of Cumbre del Sol, one of the most privileged areas of the Costa Blanca, stands this show home designed by Artemis for the renowned developer VAPF. A project that, despite starting from already defined plans, was transformed into a space with a soul of its own, thanks to the meticulous and sensitive work of Diana, interior designer.

The Challenge: Designing for Everyone Without Losing Personality

As a show home, the main goal was to create a space appealing to as many people as possible. But instead of opting for a generic approach, the vision was clear: to achieve a contemporary design with rural touches, maintaining a strong personality without overwhelming the spaces.

This house was not only meant to please it was meant to captivate.

Wood as the Unifying Thread

One of the project’s greatest successes was the choice of materials. Natural wood acts as a unifying element throughout the home: from wardrobes and dressing rooms to stairs, kitchen, and bathrooms. A warm and timeless material that brings coherence, elegance, and a true sense of home.

Complementing the wood, natural stone is featured on strategic walls as a unifying element, adding texture and depth without making the space feel heavy.

Spaces That Flow

The home breathes harmony. Frameless doors, integrated switches and taps, and the use of neutral tones help each space to flow seamlessly into the next. The continuous 1.20 x 1.20 m flooring with a microcement-like finish eliminates visible joints, reinforcing the sense of visual continuity.

This aesthetic is extended to the outdoor areas, creating a refined indoor-outdoor connection perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings of Cumbre del Sol.

Sculptural Staircase and Connection to the Outdoors

One of the standout elements of the project is the cantilevered wooden staircase, which not only connects the levels but also serves as a sculptural feature. The last three steps widen to form a visual pyramid that makes a statement. At the rear, a space has been left to accommodate an indoor planter, reinforcing the visual connection between inside and out.

Bathrooms with Personality and Cohesion

The guest bathrooms share the same ceramic cladding but vary in color and arrangement (vertical, V-shape, etc.) to add a sense of movement. The guest WC, on the other hand, brings together all the tones used throughout the home in an elegant and bold composition.

Practical and Elegant Kitchen

The kitchen, designed within a compact space, makes the most of every centimeter. All appliances including the washer and dryer are fully integrated. The central island includes a breakfast area facing the living room, allowing for cooking and socializing in one place. Everything is done with clean-lined natural wood cabinetry, consistent with the rest of the home.

A Home Thought Through to the Last Detail

Every corner of this house has been designed to the millimeter. From the furniture (leather, glass, wood) to the lighting, textiles, and finishes. The result is a home that radiates elegance, functionality, and warmth a place designed to live in, enjoy, and fall in love with.
